Employment Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, 50 weeks/year
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain children’s immunization records and health documentation.

Perform health screenings, growth assessments, vision and hearing tests, and other health assessments.

Develop individualized health and care plans for children with special health needs.

Support families and staff with children’s health needs and provide health education.
-
Educate and support pregnant mothers during the prenatal and postnatal periods.
-
Collaborate with healthcare providers, families, staff, and community partners.
-
Monitor health data and assist with required reporting and program compliance.
-
Participate in program assessment, policy development, and professional development.
-
Assist with staff health trainings and promote a positive, team-oriented environment.
Requirements:
-
Current LPN license required.
-
Experience in preschool, public health, or school settings preferred.
-
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
-
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
-
Computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel; ChildPlus experience preferred.
-
CPR, First Aid, and Mandatory Reporter certification required.

Valid Iowa driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of auto insurance.

Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
