Responsibilities
- Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment with precision and safety.
- Perform laundry washing, textile cleaning, and sanitation processes according to established standards.
- Handle materials carefully using push carts and manual handling techniques to transport linens, uniforms, and other textiles efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas by adhering to sanitation protocols and safety standards in production environments.
- Manage laundry detergents and cleaning supplies responsibly, ensuring proper storage and usage.
- Conduct quality checks on finished laundry items to ensure they meet quality and safety standards before distribution.
- Support customer service efforts by promptly addressing laundry requests and ensuring timely delivery of cleaned textiles.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in laundry services, hotel housekeeping, or textile cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of laundry detergents, garment care machines, industrial dryers, and dry cleaning processes is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while handling large loads of linens or textiles.
- Familiarity with safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocol guidelines.
- Basic math skills for measuring detergents, sorting textiles, and managing inventory.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills to support teamwork and customer interactions.
