Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately while adhering to all safety protocols and legal regulations
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapy and dosage
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and modify treatment plans, especially in critical care units such as ICU, PICU, or trauma centers
- Manage IV infusions and aseptic techniques for sterile medication preparation
- Provide expert guidance on pain management, acute pain protocols, and emergency medication administration
- Monitor patient responses to medications, adjusting therapy as needed to optimize outcomes
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of medication dispensing, patient interactions, and clinical interventions
- Stay current with hospital policies, managed care protocols, and advancements in pharmacy practice
Qualifications
- Valid pharmacist license with active registration in the relevant jurisdiction
- Extensive hospital experience, including critical care environments such as ICU or trauma centers (Level I or Level II trauma center experience preferred)
- Proven clinical pharmacy experience with a focus on hospital medicine and patient service excellence
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and acute care practices
- Experience with medication administration in pediatric (Pediatrics), adult, and emergency room settings
- Skilled in IV infusion preparation, aseptic technique, and pain management protocols
- Post-residency experience or pharmacy residency training highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to perform patient assessment accurately and efficiently in high-pressure situations
- Familiarity with managed care systems and hospital pharmacy operations
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
