Position Overview:
Play Academy is seeking an experienced, reliable, and professional Private Pickleball Instructor to provide one-on-one pickleball lessons for residents at Point Hope Charleston. This is a great opportunity for instructors looking to build their client base within a community setting while earning a competitive commission rate.
Program Details:
Private pickleball lessons will be offered to residents based on instructor availability and community interest. The instructor will be responsible for providing high-quality, personalized instruction tailored to each participant’s skill level, goals, and experience.

Compensation:
Competitive commission structure — 60/40 split in favor of the instructor for each registration fee
Responsibilities:
Provide private pickleball lessons tailored to each participant’s experience level and goals
Teach fundamentals, rules, paddle control, serving, dinking, footwork, strategy, and game play as appropriate
Create a fun, positive, and professional lesson experience
Communicate availability clearly with the Play Academy team
Arrive on time and prepared for all scheduled lessons
Maintain professionalism when interacting with residents and community staff
Notify Play Academy in advance of any scheduling conflicts
Additional Details:
Private pickleball lessons will be scheduled based on resident registrations, instructor availability, and community demand. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling and the potential to grow within the Point Hope Charleston community.
Prior pickleball instruction or coaching experience preferred
Strong knowledge of pickleball fundamentals, rules, and technique
Strong communication and reliability
Ability to provide a safe, welcoming, and professional experience
Comfortable working with children and/or adults of varying skill levels
