Duties
- Perform professional manicure and pedicure treatments using the latest techniques and products
- Create custom nail designs and artwork to meet client preferences and current trends
- Maintain strict sanitation standards to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
- Educate clients on nail care, maintenance, and product recommendations to enhance their experience
- Upsell retail nail products, skincare items, or additional services to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Assist with maintaining a clean, organized workspace and sterilize tools after each use
- Stay updated on industry trends such as nail extensions, gel polish application, eyelash extensions, and body waxing
Skills
- Strong knowledge of color theory to match clients’ preferences with suitable shades and designs
- Excellent customer service skills to build rapport and ensure a positive client experience
- Proficiency in sanitation practices aligned with health regulations for nail salons
- Formal training in cosmetology or esthetician programs with certification in nail care
- Experience with advanced techniques like acrylics, gel nails, nail art, and nail extensions
- Effective communication skills to clearly explain services and product benefits to client
Pay: $23.39 - $28.17 per hour
