Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy strategies under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support clients’ developmental goals
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene routines
- Collect and record data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
- Support clients in developing communication, social skills, and behavior management techniques tailored to their needs
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency in intervention approaches and progress tracking
- Maintain confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and managing sensitive medical records securely
- Contribute to the development and implementation of personalized care plans aligned with each client’s unique needs
Skills
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and behavioral therapy techniques
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder
- Ability to assist with ADLs and support behavioral health in various settings
- Proficiency in data collection methods and maintaining accurate medical documentation
- Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance, and medical records management
- Excellent teaching and communication skills to engage clients effectively
- Patience, compassion, and a proactive attitude toward behavior management and client care
