Tissue Recovery Technician
Disease research donor program & Biorepository seeks contract tissue recovery technician with experience with human tissue recovery or equivalent.
We will work around your current full-time job.
We are a non-transplant tissue bank supporting disease research by working with donors and their families to promote donation. We pride ourselves in forming relationships with donors and their families to ensure we fulfill their wishes to the best of our abilities. We are not your run of the mill donor program. We separate ourselves through our commitment to those we serve and our focus on disease research.
Position Attributes:
- This position will participate in donor recoveries to ensure the correct tissues are recovered as per client requirements.
- Direct interaction with technical staff, deceased donors.
- Local applicants only since this is an on-site position
- Flexible hours / some overnight hours. Higher compensation for overnight hours.

- Integrity, honesty and deep commitment to science.
- Ability to be caring, compassionate since working with deceased donors will be required.
- Anatomy instruction experience a must.
Compensation:
- Contract position. $25-50/hr
- On call. Overnight hours possible/probable.
