Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and evaluation of medical history to determine appropriate treatment strategies
- Perform spinal adjustments and manual therapies to alleviate acute and chronic pain conditions
- Develop tailored care plans that incorporate trigger point therapy, physiotherapy techniques, and other evidence-based interventions
- Monitor patient progress through ongoing observation of symptoms and response to treatment, adjusting plans as necessary
- Educate patients on injury prevention, ergonomics, and lifestyle modifications related to occupational health and overall wellness
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for complex cases involving pain management or physiologic concerns
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient visits, treatment procedures, and progress notes in compliance with medical terminology standards
Requirements
- Valid chiropractic license or certification in the relevant jurisdiction
- Proven experience in patient observation, physical examinations, and primary care settings
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical imaging techniques, and medical terminology
- Skilled in acute pain management strategies and trigger point therapy techniques
- Ability to assess patients effectively through detailed patient assessment methods
- Familiarity with developing comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs
- Excellent communication skills for explaining treatment options and educating patients about their health
