The Visitation Support Worker is a pivotal and highly specialized role within our Permanency Services Department. This position moves beyond passive observation; it is a critical clinical and evidentiary function. The Monitor is responsible for the direct supervision and active facilitation of parent-child visits, providing crucial on-the-spot redirection and positive interventions to build essential parenting skills. Furthermore, the meticulous documentation and objective reporting generated by this role serve as critical legal evidence, requiring the Monitor to be prepared to testify in court regarding their witnessed events and detailed logs. This role is central to ensuring child safety while actively supporting family reunification and permanency goals, embodying our mission, vision, and values.
Staffing/Shift Structure
The Visitation Monitor role will be filled across two primary shifts to ensure consistent coverage:
Shift 1: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
