Job Requirements:
JOYA Health is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational functions that support our clients, providers, brokers, and internal teams.
This role will be responsible for driving critical business processes including client onboarding administration, billing operations, contract processing, provider support, reimbursements, and customer service. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys creating structure, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional experience to clients, providers, and members.
The Operations Manager will work closely with Sales, Account Management, Member Services, Finance, and Provider Relations to ensure smooth execution of operational activities and support JOYA Health’s continued growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Operations & Administration
- Own the JOYA Connect portal
- Process client census files and eligibility information.
- Coordinate client onboarding and enrollment administration.
- Ensure accurate and timely handling of client documentation.
- Maintain records and documentation related to client accounts.
- Support Account Management and Sales teams with operational requests.
- Monitor onboarding progress and assist in resolving administrative issues
Billing & Financial Administration
Work closely with the JOYA Account team to:
- Coordinate monthly client billing and receipt of payments
- Oversee provider reimbursement tracking and payment distribution
- Administer broker and sales commission payments
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate reporting and account reconciliation.
Contract Processing & Administration
- Partner across multiple teams to manage the contracting process from creation to completion .
- Work closely with sales and operations teams to continuously improve the contracting and renewal process and leverage AI and automation
Customer Service & Support
- Serve as a key operational resource for member, employer, broker, and provider inquiries.
- Manage 3rd party customer service rep - ensure customer service issues are addressed in a timely manner
- Work closely with Account Management and Sales to support client satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain service records and ensure consistent follow-up on open issues.
Operational Excellence
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Track operational metrics and report on key activities.
- Support special projects and company initiatives as needed.
- Assist leadership in building scalable operational processes.
QualificationsRequired
- 4 - 6 years of experience in operations, administration, customer service. Experience in healthcare, employee benefits, insurance, or a related field a plus
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn and adopt new technologies in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Gemini, etc) a plus
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Desire to work in a collaborative environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service orientation.
Preferred
- Experience in employee benefits, healthcare, insurance, wellness, or HR-related industries.
- Experience with billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, or reimbursement processing.
- Familiarity with provider relations or healthcare administration.
- Experience supporting client onboarding and account management activities.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required based on relevant experience.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
