Location: Pan Mine, Ely Nevada
Schedule: 10-hour Days, 4 days a week
Compensation: $28.28 to $44.90 (DOE and skill level)

Position Overview:
Join the team at Minera Alamos and be part of a growing operation focused on safety, teamwork, and operational excellence. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Refiner to support refinery operations at the Pan Gold Mine in Ely, Nevada.
The Refiner is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of refinery systems and processes, including dore production, electrowinning support, mercury collection systems, and refinery documentation. This position plays a critical role in maintaining environmental compliance, operational efficiency, and strict security standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate and support refinery systems and associated process equipment

Maintain accurate production records, lot and pour documentation, and metal weight tracking

Support electrowinning, retort, filter press, and dore preparation activities

Monitor refinery process variables and maintain compliance with operational and permit requirements

Assist with carbon fines sampling, consumable monitoring, and refinery housekeeping

Maintain strict security, confidentiality, and safety standards
What We’re Looking For:

Minimum three (3) years of mining industry refinery experience preferred

Previous process operations experience preferred

Strong safety mindset and attention to detail

Ability to work effectively within a team environment and communicate professionally at all levels

Excellent attendance and reliability

Ability to work 10-hour shifts
Experience Required:

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Valid clean Driver’s License required

Working Conditions
This role requires work around high-temperature process equipment and the routine use of PPE, including respirators and specialized protective equipment. Candidates must be able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
