This role is vital in maintaining order at entertainment venues, clubs, or event spaces, providing a lively yet safe atmosphere. You will be responsible for monitoring entrances, managing crowd control, and responding swiftly to any incidents. Responsibilities
- Monitor entry points and conduct thorough checks to verify identification and prevent unauthorized access
- Maintain a visible presence to deter disruptive behavior and ensure the safety of guests and staff
- Manage crowd flow during events, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to capacity limits
- Respond promptly and effectively to conflicts or disturbances using conflict management techniques
- Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity in real-time and identify potential issues
- Provide first aid or CPR when necessary, following proper protocols to assist injured individuals
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents or emergencies
Experience
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and loss prevention strategies
- Certification in first aid, CPR, or conflict management is preferred
- Strong understanding of security protocols and conflict resolution techniques
- Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain alert for extended periods
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally while maintaining a positive attitude
