Site Superintendent
Location: Bozeman, MT
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $40- $50/hour (DOE) plus overtime
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, dependable Site Superintendent to oversee daily construction operations and lead field teams to successful project completion. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong experience managing roofing and siding projects. Experience with standing seam metal roofing is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily construction operations.
- Coordinate labor crews, subcontractors, vendors, and deliveries.
- Ensure work complies with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Maintain project schedules and identify potential delays before they impact production.
- Enforce OSHA and company safety standards.
- Perform daily site inspections and address quality or safety concerns promptly.
- Manage jobsite logistics, equipment, and material inventory.
- Complete daily reports, project documentation, and progress photos.
- Communicate project status, challenges, and solutions with project managers and clients.
- Resolve field issues while maintaining productivity and professionalism.
- Hold crews accountable for workmanship, safety, and performance.
- Take ownership of assigned projects from startup through final completion.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of construction leadership experience as a Superintendent, Foreman, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial roofing and siding systems.
- Standing seam metal roofing experience strongly preferred.
- Thorough understanding of OSHA safety requirements and jobsite best practices.
- Knowledge of waterproofing and building envelope systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and subcontractors simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- OSHA certification preferred.
- Spanish-English bilingual skills are a plus.
