Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our fine wine and spirits team. Our main focus is on hand-selling wine and spirits through customer engagement and relationship-building. Additional responsibilities include inventory management, creating and changing displays, handling cash transactions, staying updated on inventory and industry news, and maintaining the store's appearance.
Our emphasis is on rare and collectible wines as well as spirits.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Availability on weekends is required
- Experience in the wine industry or similar sales role with strong customer service skills
- Ability to build and maintain professional client relationships
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Word and Excel
- Ability to contribute innovative ideas to enhance customer experience
- Knowledge of social media is a plus
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Capable of lifting 50lb boxes and standing for extended periods
