Join our orthopaedic surgery practice as an X-Ray Technologist, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging. Your expertise will support accurate diagnosis and treatment of our patients with musculoskeletal conditions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your skills in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort while contributing to diverse med/surgical care.
This position also requires some medical assisting tasks. The ideal candidate will be assertive, proactive, and interested in furthering their medical knowledge. Clinic hours will include orthopaedic surgery hours with our physician/surgeon as well as urgent care hours. This person should be willing to work in a fast paced environment as a team player. XR Duties and Requirements
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or LSRT).Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging X-rays in our clinic.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the exam
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiology principles essential for accurate imaging and interpretation.
- Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly to patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams. Join us in making a difference through innovative medical imaging! Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour
