About the Role
We are a busy full-service residential construction company handling everything from handyman repairs and remodeling to home additions and new construction. We are seeking a reliable, experienced Residential Lead Carpenter to lead our field teams and deliver high-quality workmanship on every project.
Key Responsibilities
Lead carpentry crews on residential remodeling, additions, new construction, and handyman projects
Perform skilled rough framing, finish carpentry, trim work, cabinet installation, doors/windows, and custom builds
Read blueprints and execute projects according to plans and specifications
Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites at all times
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to keep projects on schedule
Mentor and train junior carpenters
Ensure all work meets building codes and our high quality standards
Communicate effectively with homeowners and management
Requirements
7+ years of hands-on residential carpentry experience
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crews
Proficiency in framing, finish work, and general residential construction
Ability to read blueprints and manage project timelines
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Own basic hand tools (larger equipment provided)
Professional appearance and strong work ethic
