Baltimore Medical Group LLC is a growing medical practice dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered wound care services directly to patients in their homes across Baltimore City and Baltimore County. As we expand our mobile wound care program, we are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our team.
About the Role
As a Mobile Wound Care Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive wound assessment, treatment, and management services to patients in their homes. This is an independent contractor role that offers full clinical autonomy, supported by a well-established billing and revenue cycle infrastructure through Nobility RCM.
We maintain active payer contracts with Medicare, Medicaid, Aetna, United Healthcare, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, and Maryland Physicians Care. Patient appointments are generated through our active marketing program and scheduled entirely around your availability allowing you to focus solely on delivering exceptional clinical care while we manage patient acquisition, scheduling, billing, and collections.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Perform wound debridement, dressing changes, and advanced wound care procedures
- Accurately document all patient encounters in compliance with Medicare and payer requirements
- Communicate effectively with referring physicians, home health agencies, and care teams
- Maintain and organize wound care supplies for daily visits
- Adhere to compliance, documentation, and billing protocols as guided by Nobility RCM
- Represent Baltimore Medical Group LLC professionally during all patient interactions
Requirements
- Active Maryland Nurse Practitioner license in good standing
- Minimum of 1–2 years of wound care experience
- Proficiency in wound assessment, debridement, and advanced wound care techniques
- Strong documentation skills with knowledge of Medicare wound care billing requirements
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
- Reliable transportation for home visits across Baltimore City and County
- Active NPI number
- Current malpractice insurance (independent contractor responsibility)
Preferred Qualifications
- CWON certification or equivalent wound care certification
- Experience in mobile or home-based wound care
- Familiarity with Medicare documentation standards and LCD requirements
Compensation & Structure
- $80 per completed visit
- Bi-weekly payments based on verified documentation through Nobility RCM
- Independent contractor status (responsible for own taxes, insurance, and benefits)
- Compensation may be reviewed based on performance and volume
Schedule
This is a remote, field-based position with all visits conducted in patients’ homes across Baltimore City and Baltimore County. There is no requirement to report to a central office. Scheduling is fully flexible and based entirely on your availability, giving you full control over your workload and work-life balance.
