Develop and implement comprehensive safety protocols across all project sites.

Ensure all employees and subcontractors are aware of and comply with safety policies and procedures.

Conduct routine safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and noncompliance issues.

Monitor equipment for proper maintenance and functionality.

Promptly investigate all accidents, near misses, and safety concerns, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Document and report incident details to relevant authorities and management.

Deliver regular safety training sessions for employees, subcontractors, and site personnel, including emergency response and hazard recognition.

Ensure all workers are adequately trained and certified for their assigned tasks.

Collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to align safety practices with project requirements.

Maintain detailed safety records, including incident reports, inspection findings, training logs, and safety meeting minutes.

Track safety performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.

Foster a culture of safety awareness and communicate safety concerns to all levels of management.

Support the project team in ensuring all required safety documents, procedures, and requirements are in place and completed.

410 years of relevant construction safety and health experience.
-
Minimum 5 years in the commercial building industry.

Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) certification required:

CSP with at least 4 years of full-time relevant experience, or
-
ASP, GSP, or SMS with at least 6 years of full-time relevant experience, or
-
CHST or OHST with at least 8 years of full-time relevant experience.

Completion of OSHA 500 course for construction (current).

Current certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED (Red Cross or approved equivalent).

Completion of FMCSA-compliant 2-hour drug and alcohol reasonable suspicion supervisory training.

Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and standards.

Leadership skills with the ability to influence behavior and foster a safety culture.

Analytical skills for risk assessment and incident investigation.

Proficiency in delivering safety training and documenting safety data.

Experience with Procore preferred but not required.

Experience managing safety across a diversity of project types.

Motivational leadership and ability to assume corporate-level responsibilities in alignment with company goals.
$130,000 $150,000 annual salary (Salaried, Exempt)
