We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant for a full-time, permanent position within our manufacturing industry. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in the financial management of our organization, including the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and maintenance of the general ledger.

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the general ledger and financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and standards.
2. Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
3. Assist in the development and implementation of budgeting and forecasting strategies to optimize financial performance and strategic position.
4. Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve profitability and financial effectiveness.
5. Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
6. Assist with the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
7. Maintain and improve processes and controls associated with manufacturing costs and inventory valuation.
8. Lead and coordinate ad hoc financial projects as required.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
2. Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficient in accounting software, MS Excel, and other business-related software.
4. Strong understanding of accounting theory, principles and practices, and their application in the manufacturing industry.
5. Excellent knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial statements, and financial reporting.
6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
9. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
