Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Medical Assistant to join our specialty medical practice which has served the community for 20+ years. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care, support clinical operations, and assist with medical documentation across diverse medical settings. Your expertise will help ensure smooth clinic workflows, accurate record-keeping, and high-quality patient service. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in a medical practice, is energetic, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong background in medical assisting within medical office or hospital environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, medical histories and preparing patients for examinations.
- Manage health records - ensuring accurate documentation of patient encounters, medical histories, and treatment notes.
- Assist with patient intake processes, including collecting medical histories and updating records while providing excellent patient service.
- Support medical office management by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and maintaining medical records in compliance with privacy regulations
- Skills
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, ICD coding, and medical records management.
- Experience with injectable medication administration, vital signs measurement, and patient intake process
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced clinics or hospital environments while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to provide compassionate patient care and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
