Hound Around Resort is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and positive individual to join our team as a Part-Time Dog Daycare & Boarding Attendant. This hands-on position is perfect for someone who enjoys staying active, working with dogs, and being part of a fun, team-oriented environment.
Weekend availability is required.
What You’ll Do
As part of our team, you’ll help create a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for every pup in our care. Responsibilities include:
Supervising dogs during daycare and group play- Feeding, watering, and administering medications as directed
- Cleaning and sanitizing kennels, play yards, and common areas
- Monitoring pet behavior and reporting any health or behavioral concerns
- Providing attentive, compassionate care throughout each pet’s stay
- Assisting with boarding routines, including potty breaks, enrichment, and daily care
- Working alongside our team to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming facility
What We’re Looking For
A genuine love for dogs and animal care- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and spend extended periods standing, walking, bending, and cleaning
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Previous animal care experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person!
