American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with a doctoral degree and 2+ years of experience for a day shift inpatient rehab travel assignment in Longview, TX.

Day shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

13-week contract

Floating required; no on-call requirements

Medhost EMR experience preferred

Doctoral degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program required

Minimum 2 years of PT experience required
-
Minimum 1 year of inpatient rehab experience required

Current TX PT license required; license required if applicable

Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC)

Recent grads and LPTAs will not be considered
-
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
-
Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing techniques to improve mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability

Patient education on long-term self-management and wellness is a core component of the role

Any solid color scrubs are acceptable

Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date

RTO requests must be less than one week in duration

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
