CONNECT WITH STUDENTS DURING THE SCHOOL DAY AND AFTER SCHOOL
Duties include:

Responsible for the planning and implementation of Social, Emotional Learning programming during the school day and after school within assigned school.
- Work closely with school and Y personnel to ensure positive outcomes for students and connection between the school, students, families and the Y.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with school personnel and administration, students, families and other organizations and agencies related to the SELS Project.

Maintain licensing rules/standards, keep written student records, and collect data and provide reports as necessary.
- Great for Recent Graduates, College Students, Retired Teachers, Parents looking for work hours around the school day or those looking for career opportunities in a school setting.
Qualifications/Requirements:

Education related Associates/Bachelor’s degree preferred

Available to work between 9am-6pm

SELS Specialists will work in assigned SWCS elementary & intermediate school for agreed upon schedule, and implement activities to improve students social and emotional learning skills. Schedule and activities will be assigned and agreed upon by school personnel, SELS Specialist Supervisor and SEL Specialist. Each SEL Specialist will be responsible for ensuring Y and school connection, program delivery and quality assurance according to the partnership agreement terms of YMCA SEL project.
