Premier Health Services, Inc., a Medicare-certified home health agency, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staffing Coordinator to support our growing clinical operations team. The Staffing Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring patients receive timely, high-quality care by coordinating staffing schedules for nurses and home health aides, maintaining Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) compliance, and supporting operational excellence.

Duties
Scheduling and Workforce Coordination
- Coordinate and maintain daily schedules for:
- Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
- Home Health Aides (HHAs) / Personal Care Aides (PCAs)
- Match staff assignments based on patient needs, location, staff’s skills and availability, and continuity of care requirements
- Manage schedule changes, call-offs, cancellations, and emergency staffing situations.
- Ensure all patient visits are staffed and completed according to physician orders and individualized plans of care.
- Monitor staffing efficiency and visit utilization.
- Coordinate and ensure on-call coverage for evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency situations.
Patient Care Coordination
- Coordinate staffing for new patient admissions and resumptions of care.
- Communicate scheduling information with patients, caregivers, and clinical staff.
- Address and resolve patient-caregiver compatibility concerns.
- Assist with incident and complaint investigations as needed.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team and operational meetings.
Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Compliance
- Collaborate with the EVV Coordinator to monitor and manage EVV activities for HHA and LPN visits.
- Verify accurate clock-in and clock-out documentation for scheduled visits.
- Ensure EVV records align with authorized service hours and scheduled visits.
- Maintain accurate EVV records to support Agency activities
- Partner with the Billing Department to ensure visit verification supports reimbursement requirements.
Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure staffing assignments comply with Federal and District of Columbia regulations.
- Maintain accurate scheduling records within the agency's EMR and scheduling systems.
- Track missed visits, scheduling exceptions, and documentation concerns.
- Escalate unresolved staffing or compliance concerns to agency leadership
Administrative Support
- Prepare staffing, utilization, productivity, and EVV compliance reports.
- Assist leadership in identifying staffing trends and workforce needs.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and orientation activities as needed.
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Proficient with Home care scheduling software (AXXESS experience preferred)
- Proficient with Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Pay: $49,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
