General Function:
The Wellness Center Staff shall be responsible for all day-to-day functioning and cleanliness of the Wellness Center. Staff persons will develop relationships with members and ensure consistent, superior service is provided to maximize member retention. Staff members are responsible and accountable for the satisfaction of members and nonmembers during scheduled shifts. The Wellness Center Staff will assist in all programs and tasks as needed. Our R5 Wellness staff will deliver professional service and create a welcoming environment. They will be solution seekers and confident, trustworthy decision makers. The incumbent will also exhibit the core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility in all aspects of their work. They will deliver excellent service to all members and guests, as well as respond to member and guest needs promptly, and promote all our wellness modalities.
Requirements and Qualifications:
· Knowledge and understanding of all R5 Modalities (must be willing to learn)
- Experience with customer engagement
- Excellent oral communication and problem-solving skills are necessary
- Ability to establish and maintain harmonious relationships with R5 clients
- Ability to actively listen
- Needs to be a self-starter, able to handle multiple tasks under limited
supervision, work well in a team setting and be detailed oriented
- Possess a positive and professional attitude
- Must be willing to care for/clean the Wellness center to ensure a spotless environment
- Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor
- Skilled at managing social media platforms
- Health & Fitness-minded people strongly preferred.
- High energy and motivated personality.
- Overall basic knowledge of health and wellness.
- Punctual, reliable, and excels in time management.
- Saturday and evening availability preferred
- Must come to work with a SMILE every day.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Develop member relationships
· Train potential members and clients on the benefits of our modalities as well as how to use them.
· Sell/recommend packages and memberships that best suit the client’s needs
· Ensure all paperwork is filled out properly for new clients (waivers/intake forms)
· Actively supervise and engage with the members using the Wellness Center
· Enforce Wellness Center regulations
· Conduct new member welcome orientations and tours as needed
· Maintain the cleanliness of Wellness Center areas and modalities (including laundry)
· Ensure the Wellness Center is safe environment

Expected Hours: 20-25 per week (Saturdays 10-5 / several afternoons until 7PM
