Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Full-Time/Part-time Pharmacist to join our Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate medication dispensing, reviewing prescriptions for clinical appropriateness, supporting facility staff, and maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Candidates with Long-Term Care pharmacy experience and familiarity with FrameworkLTC software are strongly preferred. We are also open to considering a Graduate Pharmacy Intern who is eligible for pharmacist licensure by October, 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and safety
- Oversee medication dispensing, packaging, and final product verification
- Provide drug information and clinical support to nurses, providers, and facility staff
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and workflow operations
- Resolve medication order clarifications and physician communication needs
- Manage controlled substance procedures and inventory oversight
- Participate in quality assurance, medication safety, and process improvement initiatives
- Utilize pharmacy systems efficiently, including FrameworkLTC (preferred)
Qualifications
Required:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or BSPharm
- Active pharmacist license in Pennsylvania, or ability to obtain by October, 2026
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Previous Long-Term Care pharmacy experience
- Experience using FrameworkLTC software
Graduate Pharmacy Intern Applicants:
- Pharmacy graduate or anticipated graduation
- Eligible for pharmacist licensure by October, 2026
- Strong interest in Long-Term Care pharmacy practice
