We are seeking a friendly and organized Golf Shop Clerk to join our team in Cashiers, NC. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, assist with daily golf shop operations, and help create a welcoming environment for our guests.
- Greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain inventory by restocking merchandise and notifying management of low stock.
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries regarding tee times, merchandise, and services.
- Assist with organizing and preparing for golf events and tournaments.
- Keep the golf shop clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods responsibly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of golf and golf equipment is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
