Bartow Precast is located in Cartersville, Georgia and manufactures precast concrete products for water, waste water, and electrical industries. Our products include gravity grease interceptors for restaurants and food service facilities, pre-plumbed water and utility vaults for private and municipal projects and many custom underground products for commercial use.
We have an immediate opening for a Pipe Assembly Crew Leader. e, disability, cancer policy
Tasks include:
- Directing the workload for a crew of 5+ employees in a shop environment
- Assigning the work and staff required to complete the workload for the day
- Unloading and checking in material
- Pulling correct material for daily production
- Assuring that all pipe installations and connections are water-tight and pass our inspection process
- Will require hands-on water meter and ancillary device assembly
- Insurring that the workspace is kept neat and organized
- Overseeing the use and maintenance of tools (will also be hands-on in using tools and equipment as needed)
Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading a crew/team of at least 5 in any construction related workplace
- Plumbing or Ductile Iron Installation experience preferred
- Forklift trained
- Blue print reading preferred – training available
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Rigging experience preferred

Starting hourly rate is based on experience. OT is available. Paid weekly by direct deposit.
