American Traveler is hiring a travel RN - First Assist for a 13-week OR assignment requiring at least 1 year of RNFA experience and the ability to scrub all service lines except heart and transplant.

10-hour shifts scheduled 0630–1700 on a rotating weekly basis: one week Monday–Thursday, the following week Tuesday–Friday

40 hours per week in an Operating Room setting

Must be able to assist across all surgical service lines except heart and transplant

Active RN license (KS or Compact) required

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 1 year of experience as an RN First Assist (RNFA)

No more than 90 days of gap in entire work history

At least 1 professional reference covering entire work history
-
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers — no radius rule applies

Former permanent employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler

Two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are required, or an approved declination (booster not required)
