Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment areas by setting up required equipment and ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Monitor and observe patients during therapy sessions to promote safety and comfort
- Assist patients with mobility and escort them to and from therapy areas as needed
- Clean and maintain equipment before and after use in accordance with office standards
- Provide compassionate, respectful, and confidential patient care
- Assist with patient care under the direction of physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and/or chiropractors
- Support front-office and administrative functions to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications:
- Fluent in Spanish (required)
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting; particularly in a physical therapy or chiropractic office
- Medical administrative and clerical experience
- Familiarity with medical receptionist duties
- Proficiency with EMR systems
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Ability to assist patients safely and professionally
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Medical terminology knowledge a plus
