Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) is seeking a paid part-time development intern. As a nonpartisan nonprofit government watchdog, CREW is dedicated to rooting out government corruption and fighting the influence of money in politics through legal action and bold communications grounded by in-depth research.
The intern will be responsible for prospect researching, assisting in producing donor facing materials, managing confidential donor data, and supporting fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate will be an undergraduate student who has good discretion, is resourceful, a strong writer and detail-oriented with a passion for ethics in government and interest in fundraising. Preference will be given to candidates able to work 20 hours per week or more. The position is based in Washington, D.C. with hybrid work options available. Therefore, the applicant must also be able to work independently and have self-motivation to complete tasks without supervision. Interns will receive a stipend of $740 a month.
