The Edgebander Operator is responsible for producing high-quality finished panels by operating and maintaining our edgebanding equipment. This position plays a critical role in delivering the level of craftsmanship our customers expect. Success in this role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, reliability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate industrial edgebanding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform machine adjustments and basic troubleshooting to maintain quality production.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet company quality standards and project specifications.
- Read and interpret production documents and work orders.
- Monitor material usage and maintain an organized workflow.
- Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Work closely with the production team to meet daily production goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist in other production areas when needed.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating edgebanders or other woodworking machinery.
- Experience in architectural millwork, cabinetry, woodworking, or manufacturing.
- Forklift experience (or willingness to become certified).
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
Experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right individual with the right attitude and work ethic.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
