Now Hiring Experienced CDL Class A Drivers
We are seeking professional, safety-minded CDL Class A drivers for a local, home-daily position based in Gainesville, GA. This opportunity offers consistent weekday schedules, optional weekend work, and steady year-round freight.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Approximately 10-hour workdays
- Optional Saturday work available
Driver Responsibilities
- Enter and exit truck cab up to 20 times per day
- Raise and lower chassis landing gear up to 20 times per day
- Secure containers to chassis using zip ties and other approved methods
- Complete BOLs, EIRs, freight bills, and related paperwork accurately and legibly
- Safely operate equipment in chassis yards, rail facilities, customer locations, and public roadways
- Perform pre-trip inspections on trucks and chassis as required
- Communicate maintenance and DOT-related equipment concerns promptly
- Comply with all FMCSA regulations, including Hours of Service (HOS) and ELD requirements
- Utilize smartphone applications for egress reporting, image capture, and operational documentation
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum of 2 years recent Class A driving experience
- Current Hazmat Endorsement (Required)
- Valid TWIC Card (Required)
- Minimum 6 months of recent intermodal experience
- Smartphone capable of running required applications and capturing images
- Ability to pass an agility assessment consistent with CDL driver physical requirements
- Ability to pass DOT drug screening and background requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Tanker Endorsement (Preferred, Not Required)
- Strong safety record and stable work history
- Experience working in rail yards, ports, and intermodal operations
