WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY IS DIFFERENT
Most consumer rights firms handle phone calls and letters. At Berger Montague, you actually litigate at the highest level of the plaintiffs' bar.
Our Credit Reporting & Background Checks Department is one of the most active and successful FCRA practices in the country. We represent consumers nationwide against credit bureaus, background check companies, and employers who violate their rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Our attorneys have recovered relief valued in the billions of dollars for hundreds of thousands of clients, and we have achieved landmark settlements, including a $58.5 million OFAC list settlement, a $15 million employer disclosure case, and numerous other class and individual recoveries that have reshaped how consumer reporting agencies operate.
For a litigator who wants to own their cases and wants their name on federal court filings that actually change people's lives, this is a rare opportunity to practice sophisticated civil litigation while fighting for consumers who have been harmed by inaccurate, unfair, or discriminatory reporting.
