We are seeking to hire a qualified delivery driver to be a substitute driver for a CDS mail route in Wray, CO. Days will depend solely on full time driver need.
This route runs Monday through Saturday along a ~91 mile/day route. Hours may vary, but will be approximately 7:30 AM-3:45 PM. Applicants will be required to focus on attention to detail as well as have a high level of integrity. It is required to keep any USPS business strictly confidential to protect the privacy of its customers. Must be able to provide/prove five years of driving history. Duties include, but are not limited to, sorting, casing, and delivering to 226approximately boxes. Pay is based on time and vehicle reimbursement.
Background check and drug test will be required.
Qualified applicants must have a valid driver's license, be able to handle all weather conditions, be able to lift 70 pounds, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism held to the standards set by the USPS.
Appropriate vehicle is required to perform this job. Vehicle requirements are:
- 120 cubic feet of usable space in a dependable vehicle
- Insurance that covers $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 total liability
