Duties:
- Assist groomers with bathing, drying, and brushing pets
- Animal restraint during grooming procedures
- Clean and maintain grooming tools and equipment
- Provide basic grooming services such as nail trims and ear cleaning
- Monitor the well-being of pets during grooming sessions
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and answering phone calls
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with animals, preferably in a grooming or veterinary setting
- Knowledge of pet care and grooming techniques
- Ability to handle animals of various sizes and temperaments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and long periods of standing
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
