Call Center: Responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling and confirming patient appointments, recalls, assisting with insurance verification, and communicating with doctors, staff and patients.
Summary
As a Lone Star Vision team member you will be integral to delivering exceptional patient care and managing office operations. Core skills in medical terminology, patient care, and customer service will support patient interactions and ensure accurate medical documentation. Utilizing your premium knowledge in optometry and HIPAA compliance, you will maintain patient confidentiality and assist with insurance inquiries. Your relevant experience with EMR systems and medical billing will enhance clinic efficiency, making you a vital asset in our healthcare team dedicated to providing quality eye care.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in typing
- Experience and knowledge of medical terminology
- Familiarity in EMR systems
- Proficiency in customer service best practices, phone call etiquette, and notation
- Experience with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Background in optometry, ophthalmology and pediatric care is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
