Duties
- Assist bartenders by restocking alcohol, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies promptly and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area through regular cleaning of surfaces, glassware, utensils, and equipment in accordance with food service bar safety compliance standards
- Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes from the bar and dining areas to ensure a tidy environment
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment safely and correctly
- Support food handling and preparation activities when needed, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems like Micros POS for cash handling and order processing accurately
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate venue beverage service and ensure customer satisfaction at all times
Experience
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred, especially within a busy bar or catering environment
- Familiarity with bar cleaning procedures, food handling protocols, and venue beverage service standards
- Experience with food industry safety regulations including food service bar safety compliance
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during stock replenishment or setup activities
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests
- Knowledge of kitchen or catering experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
