Responsibilities
- Assist with pipeline setup, rigging, and equipment installation on oil rigs and construction sites
- Operate heavy equipment such as pumps, tankers, and other machinery safely and efficiently
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with pumping systems and other critical equipment to minimize downtime
- Manage crew activities, ensuring tasks are completed safely and according to protocol
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly at all times, including respiratory protection when necessary
- Support horizontal drilling operations by preparing tools and materials for drilling crews
- Follow OSHA safety standards and safety protocols rigorously during outdoor work environments
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs
Experience
- Prior outdoor work experience in oil & gas, construction, or related heavy industry environments preferred
- Hands-on experience with pipeline installation, rigging, or oil rig operations is highly desirable
- Knowledge of pumping systems, tanker operations, and heavy equipment operation is essential
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and effectively
- Valid commercial truck driving license or experience operating large vehicles preferred
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety procedures for construction sites and oilfield operations
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency
