Framing Technology designs and manufactures custom aluminum extrusion solutions, including machine frames, guarding systems, enclosures, and workstations for industrial and automation applications. We are currently looking to add an Outside Sales Representative to our growing team. This person will be responsible for driving new business development and expanding the company’s customer base across the northeast region. This role is strictly focused on outbound prospecting and new customer acquisition, requiring consistent activity to identify, engage, and convert new opportunities. The position plays a key role in building a sustainable pipeline and contributing to the company’s long-term revenue growth.
This position requires a highly self-motivated, results-driven individual who can operate independently while managing a high level of sales activity. The ideal candidate will be able to develop a qualified pipeline, effectively communicate technical solutions, and convert opportunities into long-term customer relationships. This is a true “hunter” role, not an account management or order-taking position. Commission-based salary is uncapped and based solely on performance.
Responsibilities
Generate new business through consistent outbound prospecting efforts (calls, emails, networking, and in-person visits)
Identify, qualify, and develop new customer relationships within target markets
Build and maintain a strong, active pipeline of qualified opportunities
Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective customers to present company capabilities and solutions
Convert new opportunities into profitable, long-term customers
Collaborate with the Sales Manager to prioritize high-value opportunities and align on strategy
Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity, pipeline, and customer data within CRM (Odoo)
Follow up consistently on all opportunities, quotes, and customer interactions
Monitor industry trends and identify new markets, verticals, and opportunities
Align sales efforts with company capabilities, production capacity, and strategic priorities
Meet or exceed established sales and performance targets

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field preferred
5+ years of outside or field sales experience (manufacturing or aluminum extrusion industry preferred)
Ability to learn and communicate technical product offerings effectively
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business tools
Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Compensation & Performance Structure
This role is designed for high-performing sales professionals seeking a performance-driven compensation model.
