We Are Hiring: Whatnot Live Sales & Operations Associate
Are you obsessed with vintage clothing, thrifting, and creating an exciting shopping experience?
LA Vintage, one of LA’s largest vintage wholesale warehouses, is looking for a full-time Whatnot Live Sales & Operations Associate to join our team.
You’ll be the face of our live selling channel, hosting Whatnot shows, connecting with customers, driving sales, and helping manage the entire live commerce process from inventory preparation to order fulfillment.
This is a sales-focused role for someone who loves vintage, enjoys being on camera, and wants the opportunity to directly impact their earnings through performance.
Live Selling & Sales
- Host and lead Whatnot live selling shows featuring vintage clothing and curated collections
- Present products, share vintage knowledge, answer customer questions, and drive sales in real time
- Create an entertaining and engaging shopping experience that keeps viewers watching and buying
- Build relationships with customers and help grow our live shopping community
Inventory Preparation & Merchandising
- Pull and organize inventory before each live show
- Build curated racks based on themes, trends, and customer demand
- Learn vintage categories, brands, eras, and pricing
- Help improve product selection and show strategy
Operations & Fulfillment
- Manage sold items after live shows
- Assist with order processing, packing, and shipping
- Maintain organization and accuracy throughout the fulfillment process
- Help improve systems for a smoother live selling operation
Growth & Strategy
- Track what products and categories perform best
- Test new ideas to improve sales and engagement
- Help grow LA Vintage’s presence on Whatnot
Requirements
- Passionate about vintage fashion, thrifting, or secondhand culture
- Confident and comfortable on camera
- Strong communication skills and outgoing personality
- Comfortable selling and interacting with customers live
- Organized, reliable, and able to take initiative
- Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Bonus Points
- Previous Whatnot, TikTok Shop, Instagram Live, or live selling experience
- Sales, retail, hosting, or customer service experience
- Strong vintage knowledge
- Experience creating content or being on camera
Position Details
Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Pay: $18-$22/hr + commission based on sales performance
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Commission opportunities are tied to live selling performance, giving you the ability to increase your earnings based on the results you help create.
