American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Sierra Vista, AZ, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ER experience and active AZ or compact RN license.

Work setting is a 177,000 sq ft acute care hospital Emergency Department in Sierra Vista, AZ
-
22-bed ED treating a diverse patient population including traumas, STEMIs, strokes, psych, cardiac, GI, and pediatric cases
-
Patient ratios: 4:1 for pod patients, 2:1 for critical patients, and 6:1 for fast track

Cerner EHR in use
-
Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
-
4 weekend shifts per 4-week period
-
No on-call or float requirements
-
13-week contract
-
Active AZ or compact RN license required
-
Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience required

Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC — all must be AHA-issued

Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Trauma and pediatric experience preferred

Candidate must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible

Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible

Scrubs in any color or print are acceptable; non-scrubs, t-shirts, open-toe shoes, hoodies, and leggings are not permitted
