Shifts:
Sat-Sun: 7:00pm - 7:00am (Baylor Pay)
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care and oversee the nursing staff
- Administer medications, including dermal fillers and basic IV therapy
- Perform specialized procedures such as spinal taps and suture removal
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including special needs and behavioral health concerns
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Document patient information accurately and timely
Requirements:
- Valid nursing license and CPR certification
- Proven experience as a Charge Nurse or in a similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment
