Role: Veterinary Receptionist
Status: Full-time
Salary: Competitive compensation based on experience and skill set
Schedule: 4-day workweek, occasional Saturdays. 36-40 hours per week.

Are you friendly, organized, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities while making clients feel welcome and supported? We're looking for a Veterinary Receptionist with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a team-first attitude in every interaction.
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you'll play an important role in keeping the hospital running smoothly. From answering phones and responding to client messages to scheduling appointments and collecting payments, you'll help create a positive experience for pets, clients, and your teammates throughout the day.
Previous experience working with the public is important, but you don't need to know every piece of veterinary terminology on day one. We're looking for someone who's willing to learn, pays attention to the details, and communicates clearly and professionally.

What You'll Do

Answer incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently

Respond to client emails and text messages

Schedule and coordinate veterinary appointments

Welcome clients and help create a positive experience from the moment they contact the hospital

Collect payments and accurately process client transactions

Maintain accurate client and patient information

Communicate clearly with clients regarding appointments and hospital information

Learn and appropriately use veterinary terminology

Manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining strong attention to detail

Collaborate with doctors, technicians, assistants, and fellow client service team members to keep the hospital running smoothly
