Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff to deliver outstanding customer service and uphold company standards in food preparation, presentation, and safety.
- Oversee daily shift operations, including managing staffing levels, scheduling, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy hours.
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures to guarantee a safe dining environment for guests and staff.
- Train and develop team members through ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and skill-building initiatives.
- Manage POS systems such as PAR Brink for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
- Support budgeting efforts by controlling costs, managing labor hours, and maximizing profitability across all restaurant functions.
Experience.
- Prior experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is advantageous;
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff, resolve conflicts effectively, and foster a collaborative team atmosphere.
