About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Production Specialist to operate and maintain advanced laser cutting equipment. In this role, you will ensure the safe and efficient production of high-quality parts, contributing directly to our manufacturing output. Your proficiency with precision measuring tools and blueprint reading will be essential to your success.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain Trumpf Fiber Laser 6030 equipment to produce precision parts.
- Set up machines, including the adjustment and replacement of tooling, guides, jigs, and fixtures, to meet production specifications.
- Adhere to all safety and quality programs, following established rules and processes to maintain a safe working environment and high product standards.
- Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers (box, slide dial), and micrometers to verify part dimensions and tolerances.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate part production.
- Employ hand tools, including hammers, pliers, screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, grinders, and banders, to complete necessary tasks.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.
Qualifications
- Ability to operate Trumpf Fiber Laser 6030 equipment.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools, including tape measures, box calipers, slide dial calipers, and micrometers.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience operating forklifts and cranes.
- Familiarity with machine setups for production runs.
- Ability to convert fractions to decimals and vice versa, and metric to English units.
- Valid driver's license may be required.
