We are contractor at the power plants all around ND, must be able to pass a drug test and get a background for job and also plant sites request them as well. We work 4-10hr days Mon-Thurs. With the occasional overtime and weekends for outages and any emergency calls from plants. During a plant outage our working hrs range from 50 to 65hrs a week. What we do for job description and task are that we work in the coal systems tasks are working in the coal systems changing out conveyor belts, rollers, fixing chutes and reling and replacing skirting. We do whatever the plants ask us but majority of the job is what is listed. We get overtime after 40hrs pre week or after 10hrs a day and double time on Sundays and holidays. Must take an OSHA 10 class after hired to get on plant sites also.
