We're Hiring for Two Regional Leadership Positions
Mifflin & Snyder Region (assigned centers in Mifflin County and portions of Snyder County)
As a Regional Early Childhood Programs Leader, you'll provide leadership, coaching, and operational support to assigned centers while partnering with Center Directors and Site Supervisors to ensure high-quality educational experiences for children and families. You'll help develop leaders, strengthen classroom quality, support staff, promote operational excellence, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
What You'll Do
- Coach, mentor, and support Center Directors and Site Supervisors
- Foster high-quality learning environments and educational excellence
- Support curriculum implementation and continuous quality improvement
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, staff development, evaluations, and performance management
- Monitor staffing, enrollment, and operational efficiency
- Support compliance with Head Start, Pre-K Counts, DHS, licensing, and other program requirements
- Provide leadership during staffing shortages, licensing concerns, family issues, and other operational challenges
- Collaborate with agency leadership to strengthen programs and improve outcomes for children and families
- Build positive relationships with staff, families, and community partners.
QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with 30 credits in Early Childhood Education
- Five years of experience in early care and education
- Two years of supervisory experience
- Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Experience in early childhood program administration and operations
- Knowledge of Head Start, Pre-K Counts, DHS regulations, and current early childhood best practices.
