This isn’t your average bartending job, and these shifts don’t come open very often.
Big Bull Bar & Grill is looking for one outstanding person to join our crew as our Tuesday through Saturday Bartender/Closer. We’re talking premium shifts, premium earning potential, great customers, a proven year-round business, and a team that actually gives a damn about the people working beside them.
THE SCHEDULE
Tuesday through Saturday
Late afternoon start — typically 3, 4, or 5 PM
Closing around 10 or 11 PM
And when we say closer, we DON’T mean stumbling out of the building at 2 or 3 in the morning.
Big Bull closes at 10 or 11 PM. You make your money, close it down right, and still get home at a decent hour.
That kind of bartending schedule is hard to beat.
LET’S TALK MONEY
Starting base wage is $11.50/hour PLUS TIPS, and if you’re killing it, we’re not interested in keeping you at starting wage. We believe great employees deserve to be rewarded.
When you combine hourly pay with tips, we have seen our people reach the $40/hour range, and strong earning nights are not uncommon at Big Bull.
And here’s one of the best parts: your tips go home with you. You walk out of the bar with cash in hand every night you work. Put in a great shift, take care of your customers, make your money, and take those tips home that night. Who can beat that?

Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming customers and providing outstanding service
- Preparing and serving beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks
- Learning our drink menu — don’t worry, we keep it simple
- Taking food and drink orders
- Handling cash accurately
- Checking IDs and serving alcohol responsibly
- Keeping the bar stocked, clean, organized, and ready to roll
- Working alongside our kitchen
- Following health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Helping with inventory and restocking
- Completing closing duties and leaving the bar ready for the next day
