**Job Description:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized Warehouse Inventory Specialist to manage and oversee our warehouse inventory processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining efficient operations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Inventory Management:**
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring that stock is replenished as needed.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and inventory records.
2. **Receiving and Shipping:**
- May be tasked to assist with the receiving process, including checking in shipments for accuracy and organizing inventory in the warehouse.
3. **Data Entry and Record Keeping:**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory transactions using inventory management software.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, shortages, and overstock.
4. **Process Improvement:**
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to develop and implement best practices for inventory management and storage solutions.
- Propose and implement improvements to streamline inventory processes and enhance efficiency.
5. **Collaboration and Communication:**
- Work closely with the leadership teams to ensure seamless inventory flow and accuracy.
- Communicate any inventory issues or discrepancies to management promptly.
6. **Safety and Compliance:**
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working in the warehouse environment.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all inventory items to prevent damage and loss.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory management or warehouse operations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Ability to drive heavy equipment – reach truck, forklift, cherry picker, EPJ’s, and scissor lifts is required.
**Working Conditions:**
- This position may require standing for long periods and lifting heavy items.
- Work is primarily performed in a warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures.
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
